We have invested heavily in our manufacturing equipment, processes and people. We continue to invest in new equipment which gives us the ability to respond to the high specifications of our customers. We have adopted lean manufacturing techniques which eliminate waste and compress production times. And we are proud of our people; they have decades of relevant experience and through them we are able to respond to the challenges of our customers.

 

Independent testing

 

We have a world-class and comprehensive gear and spline testing facility. Our inspection regime is autonomous; it is totally independent of manufacturing management and our laboratory is the only British calibration service unit recognised by the National Physical Laboratory in the US. We certify our own gears and splines and those of third parties and we act as independent arbitrators on behalf of authorities and commercial users.

 

Demanding customers

 

The automotive industry is known for its focus on quality and its expectation that its suppliers will not fail it. We supply the biggest companies in this industry and we supply their OEMs and their tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers. And since the early 1990s we have been supplying component parts to Formula 1 and Indy Car companies which demand speed of response as well as product quality and delivery reliability.
